Have you ever felt that quiet ache…
Like something is missing—but you can’t explain what?
You’re doing life. Moving forward. Trying things.
But underneath it all… there’s restlessness.
A sense that you’re not where you’re supposed to be.
If you’ve felt that, hear this:
👉 It’s not random
👉 And it’s not something to ignore
🧠 Why You Feel Lost (And Why It’s Not Your Fault)
We live in a world that constantly tells us:
👉 find your purpose
👉 follow your passion
👉 create your own meaning
But no matter how much you try…
It never fully satisfies.
Because the truth is:
👉 You weren’t created to define your own purpose
👉 You were created to discover it
And that changes everything.
🔥 The Root Problem: What Your Restlessness Really Means
That feeling you have—that emptiness, that longing—
It’s not just emotional.
It’s spiritual.
You were created for God.
And until you’re aligned with Him…
something will always feel off.
Like trying to live out of sync with how you were designed.
🌍 Why the World’s Answers Don’t Work
The world offers a lot of solutions:
success
relationships
self-discovery
spirituality without truth
And for a while, those things can feel fulfilling.
But they don’t last.
Because they’re trying to fill something deeper…
with something temporary.
✝️ The Shift: From Striving to Alignment
Most people think finding purpose means:
👉 trying harder
👉 doing more
👉 figuring everything out
But real purpose doesn’t come from striving.
It comes from alignment.
🧭 5 Steps to Align With God’s Will and Find Your Purpose
1. Align With God’s General Will
Before you worry about your specific calling…
Start with what God has already made clear.
Things like:
seeking Him
living with integrity
loving others
walking in truth
Purpose doesn’t start with big decisions.
It starts with daily alignment.
2. Understand Your Personal Calling
You were created intentionally.
Not randomly.
Your gifts, your experiences, your perspective—none of it is an accident.
👉 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works…” — Ephesians 2:10
Your calling isn’t something you invent.
It’s something you uncover.
3. Build a Real Relationship With God
This is where everything shifts.
You don’t find your purpose by:
overthinking
analyzing
or chasing signs
You find it by knowing God.
Because when you know Him…
you begin to recognize His voice.
👉 “My sheep hear my voice…” — John 10:27
4. Surrender
This is the part most people resist.
Because we want control.
We want to plan everything out.
But purpose is found on the other side of surrender.
👉 letting go of your version
👉 trusting God’s direction
5. Don’t Let Fear Lead
Fear will try to keep you stuck.
“What if I get it wrong?”
“What if I fail?”
“What if I’m not ready?”
But fear is not from God.
👉 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear…” — 2 Timothy 1:7
You don’t need perfect clarity to move forward.
You just need trust.
🧘♀️ Stop Striving — You Rest Your Way Into Purpose
This is the part that changes everything.
You don’t hustle your way into purpose.
You don’t force it.
You rest into it.
👉 “Come to me… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
When you’re aligned with God…
Purpose isn’t something you chase.
It’s something you walk in.
🧭 A Simple Way to Start Today
If you feel lost right now, start here:
Spend time with God daily
Read Scripture (even a little)
Ask Him for direction
Pay attention to what He’s already placing on your heart
You don’t need everything figured out.
You just need to take the next step.
📖 “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.” — Psalm 42:1
