I didn’t grow up believing in God.
In fact, I was completely convinced none of it was real. If I couldn’t see it, measure it, or prove it—I didn’t believe it.
I was focused on the material world. What made sense. What could be explained.
But even then… something didn’t fully sit right.
Later in life, something started pulling at me to look deeper.
I began researching near-death experiences—intensely. I wasn’t trying to prove anything spiritual. I was trying to disprove it.
But the deeper I went, the harder it became to explain everything away.
There were patterns. Consistencies. Experiences people had across cultures that didn’t fit into a purely material explanation.
And for the first time, I had to seriously consider:
What if the spiritual realm is actually real?
Once I opened that door, I didn’t just peek inside—I went all in.
I studied:
metaphysics
energy and consciousness
world religions
psychic development
meditation, hypnosis, and altered states
dreams, astral projection, and more
I completed multiple programs, including formal studies in Toronto and courses through The College of Psychic Studies.
I wanted to understand everything.
And I learned a lot.
But something was off.
The deeper I went, the more I realized:
There were moments of insight—but no solid truth to stand on.
One area I became especially drawn to was death.
I studied thanatology and end-of-life care and began working with people who were dying.
What I witnessed was undeniable:
There is more after this life.
But that realization brought a deeper question:
Am I actually prepared for what comes next?
After exploring so many beliefs, teachings, and spiritual practices, I reached a point where I felt stuck.
I had studied so much…
but I didn’t have clarity.
Eventually, I came to a place I hadn’t seriously considered before:
The Bible.
Not because I believed it.
But because I felt like I had to at least examine it honestly.
At first, I read it—and stepped away.
But something started happening.
I felt drawn back. Not just intellectually—but personally.
And I began to realize something that changed everything:
Everything else pointed inward.
Jesus pointed to Himself.
This wasn’t an overnight transformation.
But it was real.
I went from:
searching → grounded
restless → at peace
constantly questioning → finally understanding
Not because I had all the answers…
But because I had found what was true.
That’s why I created Sword & Scroll Faith.
For people who are:
searching
questioning
open—but not convinced
And who don’t want:
religion
confusion
or surface-level answers
But truth.
Because not everything that feels spiritual is true.
And what you believe about Jesus… matters more than most people realize.
If you see yourself in any part of this story—
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You just need to be willing to ask honest questions.

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” — John 14:6
(So You Don't Have To)
I spent years exploring spirituality from every angle—near-death experiences, metaphysics, consciousness, and practices like meditation, lucid dreaming, and the paranormal—searching for what was truly real.
I studied major world religions and spiritual texts, including the Quran, Tao Te Ching, Bhagavad Gita, and more—trying to understand truth across different belief systems.
I trained in thanatology and end-of-life care, working with the dying and witnessing firsthand the powerful spiritual realities that surround death.
After exploring nearly every path, I turned fully to Scripture. I now study the Bible in depth and have built a real relationship with Jesus—the only place I’ve found truth, clarity, and peace.
Because I didn’t start there—I explored nearly everything else first. After studying different spiritual paths, practices, and religions, I found that only Jesus offers true clarity, consistency, and transformation.
Because your eternity depends on it. Death is not the end—it’s a transition. And knowing the truth about Jesus is the most important thing you can do to be prepared for what comes after.
It can feel that way at first—especially when many paths talk about love, peace, and growth. But when you look deeper, they don’t all point to the same destination. I explored many of them, and what I found is that truth isn’t something we create or discover within ourselves—it’s revealed. And ultimately, it points to Jesus.
Absolutely. In fact, this is for people who are searching—not for religion, but for truth. Christianity isn’t about rules or rituals—it’s about a real relationship with Jesus.
